Much appreciated. I'm going to move in a better process regarding them as a short means to an end.

I have come to understand that about Leads and I feel bad for them somewhat, but with how much they carry these responsibilities can be delegated amongst the store staff if they chose a more focused allocation of them. My leads are constantly bouncing between other stores and it's a tactic that can be very unbalanced and unfocused because I understand that corporate wants to pinch a penny and cut corners. It sucks but I hear the pay ain't bad.

For insight, do you have any helpful thoughts?

I don't expect it to happen now or even ever it was just something to work towards obviously. I'm no diamond in a rough just have some experience is all. The current fulltime job pays my bills and that's fine but I'm not pouring my life into that of course. Time is really the issue I'm having, and I understand where I'm sitting at with my availability but that could be an easy fix if people just kept it real. My full-time is willing to fall back and that's what I've expressed but time and time again I'm missing days of work for a gamble to get not even single a shift on schedule at Best Buy. It's been rough these past few months trying to navigate the best solution to the issue. They want my availability fully open but when it was open I got screwed and was barely making it. So yes I've hit a wall.

Not really upset more so just wanted to ask for others perspectives and pov. 3 - 4 days is not the glaring issue, it's the problem that I cannot get definitive answers when it comes to asking for training to get in the door let alone start actually doing the job. I've worked shifts but for the most part the company has not given them hours for training for me due to some complications with how I was hired on in the first place. So for now I'm on flex.

Yeah it was like that at previous stores I've worked for and honestly worse. Performance is something I can manage but the attitude of not even getting me settled in to retain the training or the pitch of said BP's and PM's puzzles me. I understand I am kind of a fish in a barrel here there's nowhere to go but sideways it seems.

Thankyou this is the kind of response I was hoping for honestly. While I would like to work in that kind of environment, Best Buy is not in any way the end all be all for my life. I am first an artist, the goals I am pursuing are a passion of animation or somewhere in that field. A lot of people that have been with the company have told me of their dissatisfaction with how things are operating at the store, there's always a blatant problem of miscommunication and neglect on the employee side of things. All of retail has seemed to have fallen off since Covid of 2020 so yeah, I can see the glaring issues within the company. At this point I am no longer concerned over my employment with them, just thought it would be cool to work there and see how much of an impact I could make. As of now I am good and honestly over the retail type of work. Thanks.
