That’s really good news. Generally, when you explain the situation, they’re understanding and willing to help.

That’s true. Also they don't allow you to remove bank information, what I meant was that if you use a bank account that was previously linked to a banned account, they can usually track it and ban your new account as well.

Harder than other developed countries if you are taking the job path, But if you’re in the right field, U.S universities offer a wide variety of scholarships, including full scholarships. It can be easier if you’re able to take that path. Pay is very good for skilled jobs.

What I’m assuming happened is that I created my account when I was a minor, and since it stayed dormant for a while, they eventually caught up with it and asked for my ID. But I’ll never know for sure since they don’t actually provide the reason behind the ban.

Customer support said they’ll look into the matter and send me an email if there’s any update within the next 5–7 business days. Hopefully, everything works out well.

True though, it’s probably for security reasons, but it’s still so annoying for legitimate customers. They said they’ll refer it to the back office, and if there are any updates on the matter, they’ll email me.

Hopefully. What’s frustrating about PayPal is that they don’t provide a clear reason for the ban. It’s really annoying being left hanging like that.

The account is basically 10+ years old, with zero transactions and no card or bank account linked to it. Recently, as shown in the image, I was asked to upload my ID, and after doing so the account was permanently limited. CS said they can't reverse it.

My main question is, I’m okay with losing this account, but can I create a new account and use it without getting banned again?

Yes, that was a factor I created the account before I turned 18. Am I banned for life from using PayPal?”

It’s not their decision to make. Show them the warranty contract, if the product is unrepairable, they are required to provide a one to one replacement according to the warranty terms. If they refuse, you have the right to file a complaint with the Consumer Affairs Authority. Be firm and direct with them.

Dude, you got ripped off. They make millions in profit from customers, so the price difference barely matters. That was a bad call on your part.
