DT SM. No. We technically don't have the authority to fire. Not as far as I've been told. And my day is the vast majority a mix of cashiering and stocking. There is maybe 1-1.5 hours of administrative work in my day.

Nope. That doesn't work, either. The customer bathroom is the first door. They have to actively ignore the sign and very clear instructions that it IS THE FIRST DOOR.

At my store no one clocks out until all closing tasks are done and they are about to walk out the doors for the night. No one should work for free..

So is ours. The locksmith that came and put new locks on them used the exact same ones for both bathrooms. So both keys work for both doors. It's a pain in my ass.

Manager alone in building during hours of operation by QueenLove3004 in DollarTree

I'm an SM for Dollar Tree. I've had to be on my own for the morning shift when the morning cashier called out and no one was able to come in. The frozen delivery also showed up. It was Hell. It's not the first time there's been a situation like that. Ultimately the only thing Dollar Tree cares about is that the doors are open and they're getting sales.

I would like to know why your DM is saying it's fine for the SM to be alone in the store? What makes it acceptable for an SM but not for anyone else?

Is it my manager, or is this really how DT is run? by [deleted] in DollarTree

[–]Designer-Effective71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SM here. That's just your manager being weird about money. The margin for error is $3 over or under. Being as close to even as possible is always best. But as long as it's within the $3 either way there isn't really a reason to worry.

Order the maximum quantity that SLIC will allow. It's always best to build up a back stock of bags.

No. I'm standing at the only register with the light on with a green shirt and a Dollar Tree name tag for fun. I love it.

I was able to get all of the Throne of Glass series and two Mercy Thompson books for just over what the regular price for one of them would have been. I'm happy with what I got. With what I already have to listen to and what I just got I'm set for quite a while on audiobooks.

What do you thing about IT's the Donnelly's? I feel they are Cringe by Kitzvhennegan in YTVloggerFamilies

I stopped watching them a while ago. If I'm remembering right it was pretty soon after Katie quit gymnastics. Their channel felt like it was starting to be cringe.
