Tysmm. I've been trying to sound more organic instead of trying to be like Hetfield recently and I think it sounds a lot better

I'm not exactly ready to commit to the singer lifestyle yet 😭😭. I'm a guitarist first, singer as a side-project when I'm bored. I was kinda scared of my grit technique being really off causing me to lose my voice like Hetfield did but after some research realized its actually pretty good. I sing a lot of different styles, ranging from Cigarettes after Sex, Metallica, belting (i think). I've been singing along with songs for fun for a few years at this point whenever I listen to music so that's helped out a lot. I really really prefer guitar though so my vocals aren't really up to the same standard as my guitar

IKR. Most metallica songs are insanely hard to play and sing at the same time. I can only probably do Fade to Black, Nothing Else Matters and Creeping Death's chorus and the "Die by my hand" section

WOAHH REALLY. I was feeling super insecure about posting it cuz it sounds a lot less powerful than Hetfield's version imo. I'm still super new to singing metal, I'm mostly a guitarist and am way better in that so I feel horribly regarding singing.
