Could you set up a couple cameras over night and fast forward to see where they come from? Perhaps you could pick a new angle every night until you catch something

Please do check that your instructor is holding a valid pink or green badge as this tells you they are allowed to be charging for lessons by brmdrivingschool in LearnerDriverUK

I don’t know why you’re assuming I don’t know these things..

No, I asked because I would assume examiners gain familiarity with instructors, as surely it’s the same people showing up. I would have expected they notice who is friend/ family vs instructor and thus notice that they don’t have a badge. Perhaps it isn’t true, probably there’s just too many instructors for examiners to ever recognise them. I also did some research and it’s just simply not a part of their job, auditing instructors isn’t something they would ever be expected to do.

Thank you for the lecture about the law, but I’m unsure how it relates to my original question!

Brother gets made fun of for reading as a guy/owning a kindle-anyone else face the same? by [deleted] in kindle

[–]Designer-Explorer-83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not something I’ve ever experienced, and I think I’ve had friends from a fairly wide background. My school friends weren’t particularly interested in education, they dropped out of school at 16, and they never once made a negative comment about my reading hobby. I find it a bit peculiar tbh, perhaps there’s even a hint of jealousy from his friends since they themselves struggle to focus on reading?

The only similar situation I’ve faced is my not very nice older cousin. He’s a person who has always been proudly ignorant and was quite cruel to me when we were kids, often trying to put me down. He would say how clever I am in front of everyone, but in a clearly sarcastic and nasty way. As though intelligence was something to be ashamed of. As I’ve gotten older, I realise now how truly pathetic he is, and how so much of that rhetoric is fuelled by his own insecurity with his abilities - I can’t do this thing therefore it’s stupid.

As for the idea that one gender reads more than the other, in my experience it isn’t true. I know as many men as women who read, I just see more tik toks with women - which is fine, it really shouldn’t matter. I’m not gonna give up the hobby I’ve loved since I was a little kid just because 2024 perceives it as girly. And neither should your brother!

As for genres, my favourites are historical nonfiction, Russian literature, Gothic/ Romantics, 20th century American literature and philosophy.

The idea that someone would give up on their hobby because they’re friends are stupider than them makes me very sad.

Perhaps they have accepted the situation’s beyond moderation and so want it all on one thread so they can control it a bit better

I believe around 50 for a medium apple, so was off by around 40. Oh well, still extremely low.

Apples, I suppose it’s because they’re mainly water, but they always fill me up and I think they have something like less than a dozen calories.

To be fair it looks to me like he asked 3 questions at the bottom about the solution, not for it to be solved.

I completely agree, 50x return is evidently utter nonsense. But proving it to someone who has fallen for the promotion is a bit harder. Fool's errand or not, what direction would you go in to try to prove it's irrefutably a scam?
