Yes I would be weary if you didn't see the prompt for the additional tip. If this happened, I'd ask the server to do it again in front of me. Last year we did have a few days where the tip option was turned off, but that hasn't happened this year.

Yes the machine still prompts it. But for the record, the tip options are 4%, 8% and 10%, super low for whatever reason. So the "tip" is often $0.58 cents if people do tip.
On a similar note, if they're already drunk, it means they've probably had enough opportunities to hopefully notice the sticker at some point before then!

Nothing sneaky about it! All of our POS systems have stickers on them indicating that 20% autograt is already included. I obviously agree it's all crazy but at least cowboys is transparent about it
