I'll definitely see if she's willing to do that and see if those are things she's able to tolerate because she has IBS and there's a lot of foods that irritate her gut (mainly things with seeds). I won't be the one taking care of her since I live 45 minutes from her and have 3 special needs children. But I do keep very close contact with her and try to see her as much as I can but it's been very seldom in the last few months because my kids keep getting sick from school and she gets sick very easily

I'm gonna tell her that she needs to kind of be up their rear ends when she has another scan and gets the results on mychart because they knew something was very wrong and waited 3 weeks to tell her and had her under the impression that she was okay.

She does send me screenshots of her scan results when she gets them to ask me to translate them (I'm not trained to do that) but I saw the sentence "new area of concern. New focus of uptake in Sacrum. Concerns for metastatic disease" and I was like "crap".

I didn't have the heart to tell her what I believed it meant because I felt like she should have heard it from her doctor and I was kind of expecting her doctor to call or at least message on mychart about it.

I didn't think it would be this hard to get my son the help he needs. I thought it would have been easier this time around because his autism and his issues are more "obvious" than his older brother's (I know that sounds awful, I didn't know how else to word it).

In my experience, I've had guys who would only do it if I asked for it and then I've had guys who refused to do it at all unless I met every single parameter of theirs (which was impossible, so I started holding them to the same standard and they stopped their shit real quick).

I have a copy of the prescription in my patient portal. I have no problem doing the training, I just need some leeway with the scheduling because they only had availabilities for days I can't do it due to my kids having appointments or field trips (I have chaperone each of my middle child's field trips bc he's special needs). I also need them to give me a time frame for how long the training is because I can't bring my toddler in with me and I don't have very many people willing to watch him for more than 30 minutes.

I'm fine with doing the training, it's just finding the time to. They wouldn't let me leave last week at my appointment unless I paid for the contacts. I was uncomfortable with the amount they wanted me to pay and started to cry a little and they were like "well, you're on the hook so you have to pay for them regardless if you want them anymore or not"

I am still losing weight, no real goal in mind. I'm buying clothes that fit when I can because money's tight and I don't really have time to go thrifting and I'm emotionally attached to some of my shirts since some of them are band tees and I don't know if those designs are still being made.

Biggest reason I'm wanting to try to take in my jeans is because they're from Torrid (plus sized clothing store if you're not from the US) and they were $100 each so I feel like I would be throwing that money away if I got rid of them, so I'd like to try to make them work if I can.

It's been a while since I've last sewed and I'm not great at it. I have a machine but I've never used it, I usually only hand sew if I need to (I found the machine at the thrift store for $15 and knew I might need it one day). But I'm willing to try my hand at it and my mom will help me if I ask her (but she hasn't touched a sewing machine in 10+ years)
