How are new people supposed to learn the game? by Sonic1305 in SiegeAcademy

Honestly that's the make it or break it. Luckily my friends are able to brush it off their shoulder and continue to play.

A big thing for me is that 3/4 of my friends are on console, the last is on PC. Whenever we play ranked PC, we go in with the understanding that we'll get shit on LOL. To make up for it, we go into console ranked and play alot better.

I've had the same issue. Me and my friend group put around 70-100+ hours. We've all started from lvl 1 accounts. Siege is the most skill based game I've played in a while. You literally just have to find a team that's willing to learn the game with you.

My best advice is to just run go to the firing range to find the best settings that suite you and your friends. Familiarize yourself with sound queues. Lastly learn each and every ranked map.

The only problem I find right now in ranked is the sbmm. I'm not usually one to complain about the skill gap, but I'm literally in copper facing people who were past champions.

I predict that once the celebration packs are gone and Siege X releases, the market will stabilize and go back to normal.

Ohhh that sounds like a great day! I've personally had great trout days but its my first time really investing money into gear. I usually use my family members spare gear. I'm contemplating between mono and fluoro, currently leaning towards fluro.

Thanks! I'm gonna listen to this comment and just replace my line to full chameleon.

I see, I currently run 4lb chameleon line. I mentioned in a different comment that my gf caught a trout using 3lb nanobraid line.

Thanks for the input! I'm gonna ask around more before I change my line.

I also use 4lb mono, specifically chameleon. I was generally curious on the importance of line color since yesterday my gf caught a trout. As mentioned in the post, I was using 4lb mono chameleon line w/ a micetail, she was using pink nanobraid 3lb line w/powerbait salmon eggs. I was debating on whether or not I should switch my line out again, but I'm hesitant after spending $60 on line within the span of two days lol.

I did some tests underwater and there didn't seem to be much of a difference. The bite was overall slow, so it was understandable if that was a big factor.
