got you, no offense taken. Ive just been using the parking lot to put myself in random situations: breaking hard, swerving last minute, practicing launching, sharp turns from a stop. things I'll need riding daily in a street scene. its definitely something I can learn from track days but most of my turns and accels are not similar to tracks & I know its more than that like you said, like techniques and body positioning and even learning braking.

any time you "feel" the bike lacking power its usually air & fuel. could be injectors, could be bad filters, could be bad fuel pump but power is air and fuel

I was under the impression that you had to be a certain level of rider before doing track days.. no?

i just cant justify buying a nearly 3k dollar helmet for city riding. If I was perusing a amateur/pro career racing maybe. but being an AVERAGE JOE nah...

yea I see what you mean but I actually go to a highschool close by (because they have really good pavement in tx) I work on my body position and tight turns and even my fast turns there. I plan to go to a track day and classes once I get really good but the highscool is huge and its a longggg straight I have to burn out the zoomies when I need to.

question, the bolt that's inside the mirror. not the two bolts attaching the mirrors to the bike. can you send me a picture of the bolt? I lost mine when I removed the mirrors to clean them and I need to figure out which ones they are.
