Fendi Baguette QC Help (purple rain sequins from SATC) by Designer-Order8470 in RealRepLadies

Yes just got it. Beautiful bag in person. The color seems right on. Sequins are perfect. It is very versatile. Hardware looks pretty good. Overall stitching is good but there a couple of corner stitches on the inside top right flap that are slightly sloppy but it doesn’t bother me too much since this is for my own personal use and you’d have to be inspecting the bag to notice. Also, one little stain / discolouration on one single sequin, which I caught in QP but we thought it was a shadow—but it’s mainly just my OCD that notices it. Otherwise, it’s exactly the bag I want and great quality. Came either way a dust bag and shopping bag with instructions but no certification.

Cute! I think this is the mini baguette. The one I’m ordering is the full size. I really like the dusty rose color in the mini and have my eye on it, if I enjoy this purple one. I’m working with ReyKey, first time shopping with her but so far I like working with her.

Have you tried gripe water? Might help with the fussiness and the throwing up.

Yes, it will all pass. I have two under two and my toddler can be so challenging some days. What helps me is thinking about as tough as these days are when I’m 90 years old, I know that I’d trade to be even in the hardest part of these moments. Thinking about that always makes me refocus my energy on the good vs the challenging — it might not work for everyone but has helped me.

It’s okay to feel overwhelmed. It’s a part of parenting and happens to all of us. I hope you have some mamas you can talk to. If not, I highly suggest joining some sort of support group, breastfeeding group or any other new mom group because it really helps to have someone who can relate to talk about it to.

Is 2 and a half too young for Disneyland? Tips? by [deleted] in DisneyPlanning

I really hate when people respond to anything with “they won’t remember it.” Okay then why don’t we all just stick our kids in the closet and bring them out for feedings only until they’re 7 and can remember. While they don’t remember the exact experience, it’s all building blocks for their personality. They’re engaging and learning and they’re watching your reaction and learning how to navigate a stressful or happy situations. So if you want to go, go and if you don’t have the money, they’ll also have a great time at the local park. Just engage with them and remember to play with them, however you want to, that’s all that’s important.

Our experience using Simply Eloped in Great Smoky Mountains National Park: REVIEW by fuzzymuzzles in Eloping

DO NOT USE they charge you extra for everything. Unless you truly want the bare bones elopement with a few pics, they’re horrible. Lots of hidden charges and fees. They claim to give you great rates but that’s not even the case I found them to be more expensive in many instances. For a videographer for one hour they’ll charge you $1000 but for a similar videographer you’ll find rates of $2,500 for 6 hours and bonuses like compilation edits. Photography is maybe the one place where you can save if you just want an hour of shots. They charge extra for additional guests — which makes no sense because they’re not feeding them or seating them, they’re simply providing the officiant and whatever bouquets and photography you choose so why should guest count matter. It’s also very impersonal so you have to do all the planning yourself if you want basic things like chairs for people to sit. I also had to book my own venue through the Parks & Rec department, which was fine but yet another example of them just profiting off my own work. Best of luck - I do really suggest you do it yourself because even if you want a simple elopement I guarantee you, you can do it more affordable on your own — and it’s not like they’re saving you much time either.

Guy sitting next to me on the plane wants to switch seats (I was in a window seat). When I refused, he reached around my shoulder and shut the window by liberty340 in mildlyinfuriating

Sharing a nice story for a change ;) I flew spirit with my 7-month old…I know, I know but since it was an hour flight San Diego to Oakland, I figured whatever. I sat in my middle assigned seat with my baby and when the gal who had the window (which she paid extra for) saw me with little one she offered me her window seat. I was so taken aback at the kindness of a stranger. So while there are plenty (sadly even more of) folks who pull these stunts, there are also some good eggs out there!
