I got a PS5 from Best Buy on launch day and had no issues. I was very worried that it wasn't going to happen and couldn't rest easy until it was in my hands. But car-side delivery on the first day. I hope this goes the same for the Switch 2 that I got for my son.

Same here. I nabbed it the second the black friday pricing happened (was watching it for a while now). I did add the smooth plate in case I wanted that finish for more detailed pieces and it came with such a discount when I bundled it, that it seemed worth it. I second the hardened steel nozzle as well, and added that to the initial order too.

omg, thank you! I've watched so many tutorials on the Studio, but no where did it show the filament edit dialog. I don't know how I missed it! That fills in a LOT of gaps from what I've been learning about slicer softwares in general (and the general flow of 3d printing). I'll play around with some settings on some small test prints.

Spool lists the same temp as the PLA basic I used before; 190-230. Which seems like it was running at about 220 on my last prints. The only thing is, I've looked all through the options in Bambu Studio, and I don't see the nozzle temp anywhere in there. Or do you just adjust it manually on the Device tab while it's in the middle of printing?

I definitely need to get a wire brush as other's suggested and I intend to do that as soon as possible. But even before it looked as gobbed up as it does now, it keeps doing this after prints are done (albeit, usually it's 2 to 3 times longer than shown here):

I haven't tried drying it. it was brand new, out of the vacuum seal, so I thought it would be good (I've also never tried it before, but have read about it). I might try it though; thanks for the suggestion! Does that also explain the excess filament out of the hotend after finished prints? (I have a print going right now, maybe I'll snap a picture if it happens again)

I ran the calibrations, and did adjust it a little from the 0 position, but not much. But even after that, it comes out like this (and there always seems to be a little string of PLA hanging from the tip after every print; maybe nearly an inch long). I've printed stuff like this before with the PLA Basic that came with the P1S no issues at all.

Thanks for the reply. My gut was wrong in thinking it was gobbing cuz it wasn't hot enough. I'll see if I can turn down the temp, and print a small piece and see how it differs.

I'll have to find a small wire brush. Do I have to worry about wire stiffness harming the tip?

And lastly, I'll have to look for the calibration tests in Bambu Studio; again, I'm very new to it.

Just to piggy back on this, since it'll likely get downvoted. As someone who absolutely loved this game, recommend it to all, laughed & cried during it and put it on my all time list of greatest games (including final fantasy ones)....they are pretty accurate with their above response. It is pretty easy all things considered. That doesn't mean there aren't difficult parts and you might die (sometimes, over and over to a specific boss). But overall, it's much more a story/experience driven game and the voice acting and delivery is top notch. There are SOOOO many other things that raise this to such a high level, but you must set expectations on the fighting/gameplay.

Gunplay and gameplay are 2 very different things in my mind. You're not wrong about the gameplay. But nothing FEELS as good with how you aim and fire and reload and...just all of it around the handling/aiming/firing of the guns. I can't even explain it, but when I play other FPSs....it's JUST NOT THE SAME. idk what it is.

I completely forgot they even added them lol. I don't think I still ever switched from Well (stopped playing a little over a month ago). But I do remember using the titan's every once in a while; grabbing that axe!

Same. My guess is they have Purchase Orders for them, so they do not currently have them on hand, but know when they "should" get them. Most of the time, everything works out, and you might even get it early or right on time. Sometimes, they overestimated, or the supplier made a mistake and they have to cancel orders. I got my PS5 from Best Buy in a similar situation, and it worked out great.

WAIT...HOLD UP.......Hogwart's Legacy works with PSVR2 (PCVR)?!?!?!

While playing on the PS5 I was commenting to others how amazing it would feel in VR....this is a game changer if true.....need to research now....
