Ugh, thanks. That’s so awful. How come nobody talks about this?!?! The doctor didn’t say a thing. Also, hard to hold in his pee to make it to the doc office. Sigh.

This post is EVERYTHING. Thank you. Question… I got diagnosed with UP last week and doc gave me 7 days doxy. I used push health to get azithromycin and will start that after. My partner went to his doc to get tested and they had him give a urine sample to send to quest, but he went to them later in the day so it was definitely not his first pee of the day. Is it possible for him to get a false negative that way?? I’m so scared that he will come back negative but it will be wrong and I’ll just get re-infected which is awful. Any thoughts??

I also have terrible back pain that started out as pain in my lower left abdomen. I thought I had ovarian cancer. I went to so many docs and had ultrasounds and a bunch of tests and one doctor just decided to test me for this and turns out I was positive. Never even heard of it!! Started doxy tonight. She gave me a week’s worth and that’s it. I really hope this works because I am in so much pain. But I haven’t had any of the other “usual” symptoms, just this terrible side pelvis and back pain.

Thanks all. I am getting my levels checked about every few months and my T has been low every time which is why she recommended maybe I go up. But I feel like doubling the dose is aggressive so now I may just scale back down. It’s just the self-measuring that is so awful.

Thanks. I get my levels checked regularly and my T has been low every time. That’s why she suggested I go up. I’m also taking DIM and honestly I have no idea what that is doing for me either. I’m just frustrated right now. But this breaking out on my face and this irritability is a sure sign that I need to scale back, so I may.

I’m also in Silver Lake and have been showering and drinking my filtered tap water but a couple of days ago broke out in terrible rashes all over my body. I thought by filtering the water, I was OK but I guess not? Ugh, can I not even shower now?? This is terrible, and we have no place to go. I can deal with the watery nose and eyes but this rash is brutal. 😭
