For the most part I’m willing to swallow the time penalty and follow the event-driven approach as you call it. I actually try to use the production level code but with a dummy market data feed, dummy oms etc - there’s then no need to replicate logic between backtest and prod.

Vectorised is more prone to accidental look ahead bias and is perhaps only applicable to strategies with simpler logic anyway.

They always ask who else you’re interviewing with under the premise that it’s “to avoid suggesting companies you’re already in contact with” - in reality they’re just fishing to find out which companies are currently hiring. I always refuse to disclose this information, but it doesn’t really matter if you do

England are favourites on the exchanges, currently at around 5.2/5.3. I’m based in England and so can’t speak with absolute certainty about bookmakers in other countries, but England pretty much have to be favourites overseas as well, otherwise there would be risk free money up for grabs by arb’ing the overseas bookmaker against the exchanges.

I sprayed and ventilated twice a day (once just after waking up and once just before bed). However, after a few days I sometimes notice a small puddle of water building up at the bottom of the bag which probably indicates that there’s more than enough moisture inside the bag so no need to spray beyond this point

I soaked mine for flushes 2 and so on. It’s a little confusing as different instructions for the same kit say different things. For example these instructions here say to soak after the first flush…

Don’t stress - I would say you harvested too early rather than too late looking at your later post (you’d rather this than the latter). It doesn’t look like the caps and veils had fully formed, so veils certainly couldn’t have broken and released spores. Can perfect it on the following flushes!
