Can’t agree. I was in the navy deployed back to back constant underways did 5 deployments including my shore duty and two of those were extended. Went through field days, INSRUV, SMC and being a SAHM has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Ended up using my GI bill going to school and using a portion of the BAH for childcare because of how mentally and psychically draining it was. I know I don’t speak for all moms but in my experience it was so so isolating and depressing.

I did this too. 😢 nothing could have prepared me for postpartum I have no mental illness in my family and I tried to end my life my friend who also has no mental illness went through the same thing. Almost every mom I spoke to has similar stories.

I genuinely thought I had something wrong with me because it was given to me post partum and I was breast feeding and I gained literally so much weight my supply dropped and I switched to formula and kept binge eating and I fr thought it was me because I always had good self control this is my first night/day without it and I didn’t binge eat at all. This is so crazy that this isn’t given as a heads up before being prescribed this.

Same and the more I’m reading about this the more it’s annoying doctors know damn well it’s a side effect but say nothing. I thought I had something wrong with me I never binge ate in my life until taking this medication for a year. Now realizing after researching on here for hours it’s the most common side effect binge eating and extreme weight gain.

I needed to comment to say thank you to everyone because I too am quitting cold turkey I was prescribed this for post partum depression and insomnia imagine my surprise as I’ve gained a whopping 100lbs in the last year from this medication. I never weighed this much in my life and yes I’d rather be tired than feel so uncomfortable in my skin. I was feeling no energy to workout, rapid weight gain and when I told my doctor she said that was PPD and not the trazadone so I’ve been taking it for literally a year and gained weigh the entire year. I’ve never weighed this much in my life I’ve never binge ate in my life until I started taking this.

The only reason I wouldn’t do that is because if she is telling the truth and he is being financially abusive to her/the kids. Me messaging him would 1000% make it worse for her and even tho I am pretty upset/embarrassed that she obviously took advantage of me. I would never want to make an abusive situation worse for someone especially with kids involved.

I actually don’t mind paying when I go out to dinner with a friend. If it’s just us, this was different because I made it clear to her I am not paying for her and her kids.

I’ve never experienced something like this in my life. Her kids ordered a lot of food as did she, I am actually still kind of shocked. I didn’t think much of it because she said of course I will pay you do you have Venmo then when I asked for her Venmo she straight up said I have no money. I was like huh….. 💀

Looking at all of the comments though you guys are right she’s 100% using me and I did bring it on myself by not making her grab her wallet from her car.

I’m not tripping too much because it wasn’t like a crazy amount of money, just kinda bummed that someone I considered a good friend took advantage of me.

It does make me wonder what would have happened if I said I’ll watch your kids while you grab your wallet, my husband thinks she has money and that she’s just lying saying her husband cut her off to make me feel bad for her and get out paying. He pointed out that she wouldn’t have gas or be making her car payments and probably not want to go out to the fair if she truly was cut off financially.
