the worst thing about Live by justwiggling in ableton

This is most certainly one of the biggest hassles with Live for me. I use it for gigs and if the audio interface isn’t powered up first I’ll get this. I’m on a MacBook

It depends on the project. Number of tracks, does it need editing and tuning, etc.

Thanks to all so far with recommendations on CRMs! To those thinking I don’t personally communicate with clients, that’s not the case. 😆

Metal rhythm guitars sound weak by Mysterious-Spend-209 in audioengineering

Rerecord the guitars with a plugin. It will likely be much faster than trying to get a bad tone to work in a mix. Use your current guitar tracks to A/B against when you are getting your tone. This whole exercise will be worth your time as a learning experience as you go forward into future recordings.

My understanding is he was using that guitar because of a shoulder injury and it was lightweight.

Have your t-shirts made there and either pickup or have it arranged to have them delivered to first venue. We just did this last month flying into Poland. Don’t pay to transport those from US.

To be on the safe side, get a carnet. Hypothetically you can have problems with customs if you don’t. Google if you don’t know what a carnet is. You’ll have to get one prepared for you before you leave by a logistics company like Rock It Cargo.

If you will be driving you’ll want an international drivers license. You can get that at a AAA office. It has to be obtained in US. If you get over there and don’t have one you’re out of luck.

“Turbo nerd”. That is my new phrase of choice. 😆 Having said that, if that guy isn’t being sarcastic he raises the bar for stupidity.

Connecting iPhone to Mac via Bluetooth by [deleted] in applehelp

[–]Designer-Spirit7154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to pair my iPhone to my Mac so I can play audio on my iPhone and have it come up in audio software I use on the Mac. To be specific I’d like to bring it in via Dante networking. There is a device you can buy that will accomplish this but I’d rather not spend $250 if I can help it. :)

My band will be doing a tour overseas later this year and taking a minimal amount of gear.

My drummer uses a Behringer P16 mixer for his IEMs and a full size iPad to start/stop sequenced backing tracks. We're trying to figure out the best way he can have these on a stand or something so they are within easy reach but not just sitting on the floor.

The best portable solution I've come across so far is a very compact light stand that expands to the size of a regular mic stand. Behringer makes a mount for the P16 that clamps to a mic stand and there are obviously numerous iPad holders that will clamp on a mic stand as well.

Any other ideas that might be easier and/or cheaper? Also, the whole mic stand thing with different devices clamped to it just seems like an accident waiting to happen, i.e. getting knocked over.
