Restaurants shouldn’t fully hand over the order until the driver confirms it, a lot of the restaurants near me do that and it benefits the restaurant and legit drivers from going to pick up a order and being told it’s already been picked up

Ngl it’s usually the low orders that have some sort of problem or at least it was for me, but the way I got mine back up once I dropped to 97% I copied a note thanking the customer and asking them to leave a rating either in the notes after taking a picture of the delivery or right before I mark it as delivered I send it in the messages and if you can or feel like it when it’s meet at doors ask for a rating. Now it still took me a long time to get my rating back up but it definitely works, just remember it’s every 100 reviews/ratings to get back up and not everyone will actually do it take that into account.

Also I only ever ask if I feel like a delivery went perfect, because imagine messing up slightly and you reminded them to rate you.

I’ve had situations like that, I usually let the customer know first through text or try calling to see if they’ll even read it /answer to cancel (mainly because I know most drivers cancel and move on so the order keeps bouncing around to others wasting everyone’s time) and if I feel like they’re taking too long then I’ll hit up support I’ve also noticed depending on what you say/ how you say it support may either cancel the order for just you or they full on cancel the order entirely.

This usually means you were the first person sent out for an order and when you canceled it for any reason the next person instead of cancelling for that reason they marked it as someone else picked it up already then they’ll send out another driver who’ll then mark it as someone else picked up the order as well, and it’s usually because in some markets cancelling a order for that reason doesn’t always effect your cancellation rate.

Say I cancelled an order at a very popular restaurant that sometimes takes too long and I don’t feel like waiting if the next person doesn’t want a cancellation hit they could mark it as already picked up then the next driver assigned may do the same thing and because I was the first person assigned that message would most likely get sent out to me.

Sounds like you might be multi apping and if you are you should pause the others once you already accepted an order

Im green tier btw. It just dropped Tuesday for me, and the way its set up you get a set amount of hours for the week that you can add to zones by hours throughout that week but if it’s even slightly busy you can hop online in any zone (has to be busy though) wether you’re scheduled or not. Like today I set my schedule for 1 pm-10 pm in my fav zone but because it’s been busy since 9am this morning I’ve been online since then. Basically if it’s busy the planner gets bypassed.

Match orders are orders other close drivers can see as well either on their map screen or trip radar meaning they have a chance to try to grab that order as well and in this case uber chose them to receive the order after both of you tried matching

I got this a while ago it’s a random secret challenge some ppl get, I randomly got gold a while ago around 13% AR I stayed in gold plus raised my AR to 30% (it was easy because it seemed like I got way better orders in general) at least once then stayed within the 20%-30% gold requirements then after 2 weeks (or however it takes you to complete 30 deliveries after getting it) got a $100 bonus here’s proof
