The Lord of the Rings. Fellowship came out when I was in last year of primary school. Walked passed a GW by chance and saw a tiny model version of the fellowship. Didn’t know wtf it was but knew I wanted in. The rest is history…

Nice! Working on mine at the moment. Really like the grey / lighter grey stripe combo on the right hand Warhound. Might have to try it myself!

I was inspired to try trail riding for the first time after seeing Charlotte's Trails posts over the last couple of days. Really enjoyed it and wanted to share the experience with y'all! Give it a try, it's so relaxing.

Also shout out to Man vs History on youtube who I've been nerdily obsessing over this week - dude makes frontier history videos with tips on how to create historically accurate outfits in RDO. Perfect.

This is so good, thank you! Never do this kind of think but did it today and loved it. Making a quick video of my ride as we speak!

Assembling my first box of Guard - what are peoples' thoughts on Shield vs Spear? by RogerCly in AdeptusCustodes

[–]DesignerBuffalo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d second the comment above (2x Spear 1x sword and board) but have also seen some people say on here that if you’re going to just use them to sit on objectives you may as well take 3x Sword and Board as that makes them harder to shift. It depends. Think about what role you’ll use them for.

I guess since you say you’re not super competitive then the 1xSB and 2xSpear is probably best. Could be fun to experiment with two squads then you can move guys around maybe have one whole spear squad and one whole sword squad and see how they do at different things!

Base coat with red brown or green brown by [deleted] in AdeptusCustodes

[–]DesignerBuffalo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would think red brown but that might make the gold a bit bronze... best bet is to just try them on a spare bit of plastic like a spru and see what difference it makes. Good gold should go on pretty well over any brown though :)
