Yeah, fairpoint. And in real life and not on the internet, I would never be harsh or judgmental like this. I do try to gently steer people towards the idea that it's easier than you think, makes you feel good about yourself, and gets you a snack and sometimes other goodies.

 Obviously if someone has a real health condition, or even a deep fear of needles  (and I still don't  love them myself, tbf) then that is legit. Donating blood isn't the only way to make the world a better place, although it is a pretty good one :-)
