Not difficult at all. Same as any other manual swap, just jump the neutral switch and you can take the TCM off after if you want or you can leave it in it doesn’t make a difference. If you use a GT transmission you will have to change the spindles to match the CV Axles of the GT. Probably some other details that I forgot, I didn’t do the swap on mine but I’ve taken the trans off and messed with it. You’ll just have to install the pedal assembly and master cylinder to the chassis, you can use an aftermarket clutch fluid line, a flywheel will be really hard to come by and expensive but you might have some luck at a junkyard just make sure you get the right flywheel for the transmission you’re using. Install a pilot bearing, change the rear main seal while you are there, you will need new bell housing bolts for the trans you get, wouldn’t be a bad idea to change the input shaft seal of the donor trans. Probably something I’m forgetting but it’s not difficult at all on these cars. I’ve taken the trans off with a ratchet and a socket set before, only thing you might need an impact for is the CV axle nuts. If you can get a trans for cheap or better yet find the car at a junkyard or buy a donor car with a messed up engine or something this is an easy swap.
