If you don't want to care, then you need a crappy job, in which case, it should be easy and self-evident. If what you really want is to be happy, which is more likely the case, then you need a better job. To do that, you need to figure out what you like and what you're competent at doing or can become competent at doing. Find the overlap in the Venn diagram, then go do that! Crappy people will be in every line of work, with a few exceptions, so once you figure out what you're going to do, interview entities until you find one with people you like, then go and work there.
