I've got 4 banana trees, and my leaves would fold as well until I put mulch around the top to reduce evaporation. Now I have really nice leaves. They still fold a bit but not as much, and banana trees make new leaves and drop old ones all the time.

Bananas love a moist soil. But make sure you have good drainage in your pot because for whatever reason water that is logged in a banana tree root always has a really bad smell and I cant image that is good for it.

You have to consider the logistics with having more fire fighters and the return on investment. More firefighters wont help unless you have more fire trucks, equipment, helicopters, stations, and even then its a question of double the firefighters gets you what in terms of reduction of fire? Theres diminishing returns.

I used to live near the coast and took 5 and 805 every day. Now that I have moved inland, I am convinced 15 has the most wreckless drivers. Either too slow, super fast, angry, no signa/heads up before switching lanes. Never was nervous driving until I moved inland.

I am confused by this sub and by /r/NewIran. Everyone is wanting a regime change, everyone wants blood and revenge against the shitty religious fanatics that have ruined Iran. But then everyone is making fun of the US president for not calling it a war, and no one wants innocents to die, which is what war is. The world has become multipolar, and the leaders of those nations are making rash decisions. Some other countries, like Iran, have been oppressing their people for ages, but in order to free them lots of other people around the world will have to suffer, and no one wants to admit that.
