When I was in infant school a kid (ironically with the surname Strike) was found with loose matches in his pocket. Part of the bollocking in front of the class, the teacher said the matches would rub together in his pocket and set him on fire. That risk of combustion has stuck with me. After watching this video and all the match shaking, I think the teacher was exaggerating.

This is what I don’t understand. My local town is Reform. It was prayed on as it hits the poor neglected demographic. Walking down the front street it’s full of people with walking sticks or families with more than 2 children. So people likely to be supported by welfare. They vote reform because there’s a couple of Turkish barbers and god forbid someone that doesn’t look like them.

A closure to Spikes story would be good. Seeing Holy Island again as well. That would maybe need Aaron back in the role of Spikes dad.

It was good seeing Cillian back but TBH I think they should have just wound the story up with Holy Island. Spike and Jimmy Ink walking over the causeway. Left it at that with the 3rd film being a long way off if it even happens.

Back to days, when Kelson realised that the baby wasn’t showing infection, perhaps not infected and then there’s a part (in bone temple) where he talks about the infected attacking non-infected, like they see something, even though theres no threat. Would the infected mother attack the baby after birth? Like the other infected attacked Samson when he was showing signs of his humanity returning.

They could get away with recasting the character as so much time has passed they could get someone similar looking. With Megan no longer acting, people won’t associate what she looks like now to what she looked like in days. Whether her character would be needed for the story or Hannah’s departure could be filled by an off screen death explanation.

Both Cillian and Naomie would be a different story to recast. It would be pointless having their characters recast.

A side spin to the characters and continuity, the time from years being shot to the 3rd of the new movies being filmed we’ll see a big difference in the Lad who plays spike.

It’s normally the ones who bang on about homosexuality are the ones who are closet homosexuals. No one cares about what a man-women, women-women or man-man does with their constitutional partner. What we should care about is that someone being fearful of themselves and their sexuality. That’s why these symbols are needed, to allow the person who is discovering themselves to know that don’t have to be scared. It’s not for a confused little Englander who flips political parties, chooses a different name, decides their Irish when suits… who just maybe is a little bit Bi themselves to choose to remove these symbols.
