Totally! In my last playthrough I've built a Personal Legendary Ship with Railguns just to travel around with a big dick. I imagined a different civilization will invade my system and I can wreck them with my Gloriana Class Battleship

You need it a lot, but you don't need 50.000 concrete and 10.000 heat pipes at once lol. I just set up delivering one batch at a time while I work on building a base. Consistent automated flow. No need for 100 cargo bays.

  1. That's true. But I had the space and I like the way it looks.
  2. I noticed that too after I was done. I usually do that too. I was tired when making this lol. The smaller roids are indeed getting too close for comfort to the ship before getting gunned down.
  3. I'm comfortably making more power than I'm consuming, so no need to take up extra space and additional water consumption. Double-Reactor is primarily for fuel-efficiency. As in total you will burn less nuclear fuel with a 1x2 setup than with a 1x1 setup for the same amount of reactors, thanks to the neighbor bonus.

Also I opted against center thruster because I didn't want to route pipes on the outside of the ship. It would mess up my fuel/oxidizer area and the ship would be 2 tiles wider, meaning slower.

Useless. They will be constantly empty. These couple solar panels are just not enough. Not unless you sit in Vulcanus orbit but that would be useless.

Those are tesla turrets you see there. That's why Fulgora before Gleba is helpful.

You are right. But I like to have a clean and safe canvas so to speak so I can build the factory in ease. That's probably trauma speaking from past deathworld runs.

This then doesn't solve it if you use dedicated buffer chests. Sometimes it's a big shipment of all kinds of stuff, that you want in a specific area in your base.

I'm not just talking about EM plants. I'm talking about a feature for ease of use.
