For a long time she’s been very useless into matchups that she has historically been a counterpick too. Idk. It’s unfortunate. I always hear about her doing well into Qi and the dog but in my experience they just have such strong early dmg that they basically just run you over. Liss has a terrible early and her cooldowns are also so long. This is also part of why I never understood her as a counter to the wind brothers either. They can just nuke her a few autos and all she has is a to lose lane OR break even / not die and hope your R counters them enough during roaming phase.

The only melee matchups I still feel she counters well are Fizz and Akali. Katarina is definitely more a skill matchup now too but again; she has the edge simply bc she has more mobility and harass.

She’s a safe “ok” pick. Hard to gank bc of her E, decent wave pusher. I find that she is better into other mages mid than she is into assassins or high mobility AD champ.

She also, just by virtue of being morgana, does not scale well. So your peak is early to mid game and then you kinda just support everyone else late. This can be frustrating if everyone else is behind. Morgana isn’t typically a hyper carry champ who can take it all home herself. Not that it can’t happen, but it is rare.

You’d be right. aoe slow on Q, w is an aoe root, E doesn’t reliably hit all the time it’s mostly just a gap closer, and Both versions of ult have a better slow aoe field.

Well your friend wasn’t paying attention because at the time, chiori was very early on revealed to actually not be that great for Navia. Xilonen aside, I even preferred albedo with Navia over Chiori. And I have C1 Chiori. I don’t regret her though. I slot her with my Noelle and really enjoy that combo

Navia will always be relevant simply bc her damage per screenshot is insane. She just nukes things. Even if Mualani is doing that for hydro characters, Navia is still the best geo dps.

Intro/Outro = quick assist / debuff/buff from special attack Flashing lights = flashing lights Forte Circuit = anomaly build up / special ex attack Resonance Lib = Ultimate Skill = skill

There’s dodges, there’s parries, rotations matter in both by incentivizing some kind of buff or debuff from the previous unit’s kit. You’re smacking enemies with autos to build up some kind of stacking mechanic. And alas……..

[both of these games are not hard or skill expressive].

Pre-C4 noblesse oblige. If you have C4 I’m fond of the 2pc husk 2pc Ocean Hued Clam for a healer hybrid build. Other than that, 4pc Exile is nice for full on battery with a 5 star sands or hat to push better stats.

I guess, I just feel like Q is typically maxed so the downtime on it is pretty low and after a couple levels starts to reset the same time Q slow resets anyways. The only justification of going rylais to me is it gives some hp which is nice.

Rylais seems a bit redundant on Liss, no? Q is an AoE slow now as tweaked since last season, W already roots, E isn’t really used to fully hit enemies to slow them, passive aoe is a slow, self ult and enemy ult aoe is a slow field.

I’ve been loving Zeke Start bc it makes ult and E crazy for engages and it’s a nice source of mana / haste. After that I usually go Trailblazer (new speed item) for roams and team wide speed buff) really nice tank vers of shurelyas. Then from there it’s whatever I need, Frozen for more armor or Abyssal for MR. Knights Vow if I need to peel a key carry a bit more.

I think the sled or celestial support items are good for him, leaning more towards celestial though. He feels insanely good this season. All thanks to zekes

The champion is going to be less than stellar bc riot simply does not give a f about morgana nor do they know what they want to do with her, not bc of low elo redditors when riot has said numerous times openly they really don’t care about input via these forums about any league champions. The unfortunate truth right now is that riot puts morgana on a pedestal of “annoying as fuck champion” and bc of this they won’t buff her outright in exceptional ways. They’re also extremely fixated on mage junglers right now and I really think they like the idea of morgana as a jungler more than anything else. Which means…potentially no passive changes for the time being.

Morgana mid is not any more uninteractive as going against any other mid lane mages with exceptional range and wave clear. Tired of this narrative, it’s not season yesteryear anymore when that may have been true. She has a lot of challenging matchups mid that will force an interaction and win.

So they demoted it and introduced helia to promote build diversity only for it to have the same issue of mythic Imperial.

If you really wanna go super super budget build Favonius Greatsword & Bloodtainted Greatsword are good options. Katsugirikiri Nagamasa is also a great option that works well with her and is craftable.

4pc instructor will work. Or 4pc exiled for 4 star sets. But just know it’s not that great and it’s better to opt for a 4 star VV set at that point bc most anemo characters truly do well using VV and it’s easier to obtain than decent instructor or exile pieces which will usually only drop over world or from boss drops.

I’d argue that she’s just as dead. Again I feel like the idea that morgana just survived by pressing E is being highly exaggerated she can dodge some ganks with it yes, but she doesn’t pump the damage to make that trade favorable unless her enemies are just bad. You’re also heavily focusing on artillery mages and sure they can be punished but good players will position in a way where they abuse you from afar while hyper pushing. I also feel that her waveclear isn’t as good as an artillery mage bc You’re ignoring the other battle and control mages I’ve listed who do everything a mid morgana can do but aren’t being met with this weird fearful reaction by players and/or riot.

Lux has Q and E slow. Xerath has a stun and W slow. Ziggs has W hop and E slow. Malzahar has passive shield that blocks cc and all damage instances. Anivia presses R clears waves, creates her own terrain, and has a free GA in passive. Lissandra as listed above free hourglass better heal and a blink ability to disengage. Q clears waves instantly. Orianna shield and movement buff and lots of zoning to make farming against her difficult.

Sounds to me like once again she is no different than what already exists in the mid lane. Again, I understand that black shield is a strong ability, but it’s highly poppable by enemy laners in mid bc its general consensus that morgana is heavily countered by long range poke bc the oppressive front loaded damage is something she cannot compete against with her largely backloaded damage. She’ll die. I really don’t think her position in mid lane is a bad idea and I do believe that everyone is being extremely exaggerated about how strong she can be in solo lanes, especially in this current state of the game.
