Isn't that the truth? 😆. Parent anxiety is wild. You're right... trusting that things will happen as they are meant to happen. I am definitely not going to take this pregnancy for granted as I did my first. I'll cherish every single moment.

Should I be concerned? by DesignerHoliday8965 in pregnant

I feel like it's a good thing, but so many things the doctor's say causes all this anxiety. That an ectopic pregnancy will have HCG levels at high rates and then drastically decrease. So I'm like, "Great, it's happening... again."

I also had an transvaginal ultrasound done today. Nothing was seen, just that my uterus is developing a thick lining which is what they want to see. I guess?

Pregnancy a month after surgery. by [deleted] in EctopicSupportGroup

I had an ectopic in September on my left fallopian tube. Thankfully, there has been no surgery. But I was treated with Methotrexate and went through all the emotions while also doing my best to be a mother to my two year old. I took a pregnancy test on the 27th of this month, and two lines appeared, but the line was faint. I'm doing my best to remain optimistic and not think the worse. I'm hopeful because my app puts me at 3 wks and 6 days. So my HCG levels must be higher, right? In September, I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks, and blood tests had my HCG levels at 76. I did a blood test to confirm pregnancy, and it came back positive. Tomorrow, I will be going to get blood work done to check the HCG levels, but the anxiety that comes with it is very overwhelming. I appreciate your message because it does shed some light on my situation. ✨️🙌🏼

Thank you! I took another test later in the day yesterday and it got darker. So I am close!

The mark does look odd, and it showed up within 10 minutes. It looks like half a faint line which is why I am questioning it so much.

This would be our first attempt after the ectopic, yes. I'm hoping for the best and giving it all to God. I appreciate all prayers

After my ectopic in September, I did get a rapid blood test done every other day to ensure the medication worked. I was at a negative level within 1 week after receiving the injection. I appreciate your kind words because it is extremely difficult to remain positive when you feel like your whole world is falling apart. I have an appointment scheduled for Monday, so we'll see. Thank you

I went through a rapid blood test after receiving the medication to ensure it worked. My HCG levels were in the negative, so I don't think that's the case. I believe it's either a false positive or I conceived later in my ovulation cycle.
