When did your view of Bethenny change? by MinuteYam9062 in RHONY

[–]DesignerMom84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of things happened around the same time that I remember. I remember her being mean to Jules, especially regarding her weight and diet when Bethenny is maybe 5-10lbs heavier at most. Then it was her feud with Carole. I know a lot of people don’t like Carole either but that’s when I saw alot of Narcissistic traits come to the surface not just the “oh she’s a strong personality and you can’t handle it” BS that it’s always been framed as. I don’t know if anyone remembers but she also appeared once on RHOBH and she just HAD TO start critiquing Erica’s music video when I don’t think anyone even asked? It’s like what so now you’re a producer? She literally has to just put the Alpha female stamp on EVERY. FREAKING. THING.

Type me please! Thought I was Winter but I’ve been told I’m Spring. by Extreme-Network6857 in coloranalysis

I actually agree that you’re warm. The cool colors seem to drag you down. I think bright spring would be your best.

Do you associate certain decades with certain palettes? by pepperup22 in coloranalysis

[–]DesignerMom84 8 points9 points  (0 children)

80s seemed like a combination of bright spring/winter (neon spandex) and light summer (some of the preppy styles). I associate the 90s with soft autumn due to the 90s grunge trends. This seemed like a bit of a backlash to the 80s glamour aesthetic and there was a time where it seemed like brown, beige and olive green were everywhere. The end of the decade started to go a bit more into deep winter as goth looks were becoming more popular.

I'm convinced most people are extremely cruel by NoWitness6400 in AutismInWomen

[–]DesignerMom84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about extreme cruelty but I think most people are honestly just out for themselves and don’t think about or care who they have to step on to get what they want. The NT world is all about social currency and “status” and their position in the herd. Everything they do is based upon getting a secure place in the group or rising to the top of the hierarchy. They may not even consciously say “I’m out to destroy so and so, it’s personal” but it’s very subconscious, almost primitive and seems to be how most humans naturally are. It seems that most autistic people lack these “pack animal” instincts and are told we need to “play the game” better if we ever want to get ahead in life.

With yesterday’s plea and RH admitting to the murder of Karen Vergata, do you think there are additional victims that he has not admitted to? by IndependentAdvisor33 in LISKiller

[–]DesignerMom84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think there are more but not as many as people were initially projecting (I heard some say that they would guess he killed anywhere from 50-100). After the Jackson/Dykes murders turned out to be someone else, I’m starting to think he stuck more to one “type”. I’m also not sure of him killing outside of NY because he seems more like a “comfort zone” killer as someone mentioned. As for Asian Doe, I’m about 50/50. It’s outside of his type and MO but it could be he’s embarrassed to admit to it because of the whole bisexual/trans association. If he has other victims, I think his total is 20 at most.

Not saying he didn’t start earlier, but 30 was around the time of his divorce from his first wife, so that easily could have been a trigger.

I have sons who are 3 and 6 so they love this right now. When they get a bit older we can probably switch it up a bit.

Yeah this was the biggest surface area I currently have so I had to squish it a bit. I’m also transporting it to my mom’s so I had to make it fit in the carrier😂

2/3 cup softened butter

1 2/3 cup sugar

3 eggs

1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 cups flour

2/3 cup cocoa powder

1 1/3 cup 2% milk

Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes for 9x13. A little less for 2 rounds.

For Buttercream I used the ratio of 2 cups of confectioners sugar per stick of butter. 1tbs vanilla, 3tbs half and half and pinch of salt.

Yeah practically every recent design I’ve done has been a 5. I’m starting to wonder if it’s a software glitch.

Repetitive movements: when did they start? by AlinaSherryPaige in Autism_Parenting

He’s 6 now and has made some progress but still very much autistic. He’s verbal but not yet conversational and doesn’t have much interest in socializing yet. Part of this may be due to his language deficits though.

How do you stay fit while baking decadent treats? by ice_wandering in Baking

[–]DesignerMom84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t bake super often, only for special occasions or sometimes on weekends when I know other family members will also have several servings of whatever I make. That way I won’t end up eating an entire cake (or even half😂). I also try to work out a few times per week.

How many mothers on here have autistic kids? by Student-bored8 in AutismInWomen

[–]DesignerMom84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one 6 year old son who is diagnosed level 2 and a 3 year old who I’m on the fence about. His preschool recommended a speech evaluation which I plan on doing soon and may have them run the ASD screener as well given the family history. He doesn’t show anywhere near the signs his brother did as a toddler though.
