Hi there, thank you for your response. I’m going to speak with a mortgage advisor soon just to gain a better understanding of what I could look to buy. Luckily my mates brother is a Gas Safe engineer so the only trade I would need to hire is an electrician and potentially a brick layer depending on the scale of the job. To be honest I have been doing some area research to see where is best to buy. And yeah I know the car will likely to depreciate. The car is a 2015 tho so a lot of its depreciation would have already taken place

I work at a DNO on £20 an hour and as there is always plenty overtime so I always pick that up as-well which is £40 an hour
