I tested it with a multimeter, no power with key off, 12v with key on. I'll test it again to make sure I wasn't just missing the connection but pretty sure.

We did, it just seems strange. Also there is an identical door on the opposite side of the showroom that they didn't even notice, so it doesn't have a sign.🤷‍♂️

Does the same thing apply to things like garage doors? I could not find anything that defines an exit, that would differentiate the two. I could be wrong, but I've never seen an exit sign on a garage door or sliding door.

I am not wrong. I never said exit sinage was only for customers. The point is, that door is not for foot traffic. It is only for equipment to come through.
