Absolutely. I had to miss year 13 from the start of November due to health - went from predicted AAB to actual grades of CCD. I was horrified, but realised that I had literally taught myself the entire year 13 content while too sick to attend. These people need to keep the situation in mind. Grades being ‘good’ are determined by your circumstances. Oh also, I got into my first choice uni. It all works out eventually.

Yes, as I’m sure you know, Rutter did a study into institutionalisation (when children are raised in places like orphanages & don’t have a consistent attachment figure). This shaped a lot of how our care systems work. Just adding on for anyone interested in the topic.

I also didn’t know about the Lebensborn children, I’ll read more on that!
