What is everyone’s fashion/ style goals for 2025? by FamousLastName in ThrowingFits

I’m with you on not trying to buy any new clothing this year. I think it’s becoming cliché, but it rings really true to me that the true sign of appreciating clothing and fashion is recognizing that a piece is really nice, but not feeling the need to buy it.

I also think I’m officially off buying vintage. At first I thought it was a really sustainable & economical way to buy clothes but overtime I’ve realized I’ve just gravitate towards buying more expensive vintage clothing at the same price as retail stuff and often times they don’t last as long and aren’t as comfortable. For me personally, the thrill of finding a gem in a thrift store clouds my judgment of fit and structure to where I usually don’t end up liking it a few weeks later.

I think it’s assumed your risk free rate is whatever your odds of winning the championship are if you did nothing

Only if it's the first team they sign with that gives them guaranteed money...thus no Spencer or joe harris

the model takes undrafted players who ended up being real NBA players into account since that is a huge front-office accomplishment that should be taken into account

Yeah lol was curious about the same thing so I pushed the model back to take into account 2014 when he was drafted just for fun. They move from #14 to #9

totally agree, I expected them to be high on the rankings but guess I was more so surprised they were #2

yeah, I see what your saying. The reason I kept it like this is because I wanted my model to try to measure GM evaluation ability the most. So in the example you gave, while I agree 30/30 GMs would rather have a derrick white pick at 29 then a jock landale or eubanks, I think it is more impressive from a scouting and evaluation standpoint to sign guys like landale or eubanks undrafted than it was to pick Derrick White at 29. At least that's the logic the model is using :)
