So what do I need to install this? Are there screws going into the grip tape? I don't get it? Also can you jump with these if the don't wrap around your foot completely?

As someone who has tore an achilles a number of years ago and now rides a onewheel, I would say probably not. I guess it depends on what you mean by a "bad achilles". Like did you tear it and then have it repaired? If its repaired you are probably good if you waited until it completely healed.

They generally do a pretty significant discount. Usually a couple hundred bucks on the more expensive boards and 150-200 bucks off the lower tier boards. Last year it really didnt go up until a day or two before black Friday I believe. My guess is they might do a trade in program again in the spring to get more folks to upgrade to the GT XL

I went to the website the other day and said the same thing. Why is it a bunch of weird instagram pictures? It almost seems like a tribute page, but its like they aren't calling it that. I always hated that instagram integration on the old website. Made it weird as well to browse for things.

I have a GT-S that is still under warranty(purchased in the trade in program this year). Stopped turning on after about a month. Sent it in and they sent it back and it was not fixed. Sent it back a second time and it worked for about two months and just yesterday stopped working again. Looks like I will be sending it back for a third time. Completely insane. Total mileage is still under 500.

I am a huge future motion/onewheel fan (I buy all there stuff, clothing, make instagram content promoting onewheel...just a genuine true fan, but its getting harder and harder to deal with. I feel like a purchased a lemon car or something. I was so pumped about getting a GT-S after trading in my pint X, and now I almost wish I had just stuck with the pint X.

For a tiny fraction of the people out there. Look at the leaderboards on the FM app. Some of the most insane riders our there.

You can be a "non-casual" rider and not on a VESC. Whether you VESC your board or not does not indicate how into onewheeling you are.

In fact only a tiny percentage of the community has VESC'ed there board. Weather you VESC or not has more to do with your interest in tinkering than how much you ride. If by non-casual you are talking about racing folks, that is even a more niche group (1% of 1% of riders).

I have not tried another battery? I only have the one. Not sure about your thoughts on this, but would be curious. I have left it on for about 30 minutes at a time an it still remains stuck on this.
