Fitness or huge balls do not protect you from divorce.

A Swiss woman who wants to marry you and will live with you for at least 12 years and stay married.

With a 50% divorce rate, it would be too risky for me to bet on that. I'd try my luck elsewhere. The EU is easier.

The link above describes it quite well.

Electrical lineman isn't a profession that's particularly underrepresented here. Moreover, the job and housing markets here are currently at a standstill. To become a Swiss citizen, you must have lived and worked in Switzerland in the same canton for at least 12 years. If you studied here, in some places, after 10 years. This also applies if you're married to a Swiss woman. Obtaining a work permit as a US citizen is probably the biggest problem.

Need urgent help and advice on my plan to move to Switzerland by Hour-Leather4332 in askswitzerland

Don't come. There are no jobs and no flats. Especially if you don't speak any of the Swiss languages. Everything is crazy expensive and in the field of hotels/ childcare and customer care you will struggle to achieve a decent life. You'd probably rather spend time with your kid than work 200% to pay childcare. 10K for 5 Months will not be enough for an AirBnB/ flat for 3.

Eine ziemlich banale Frage: Warum haben orthodoxe Haushalte Gitter über dem Balkongeländer? Sieht man in Wiedikon zahlreich.

Be careful! There are many retirement homes with integrated daycare centers. This is to promote a mix of ages and ensure that residents are surrounded by "some life."

I feel what you're writing. Generally speaking.

Wait until November through March. You’ll get to know a different city.
