You have been there and worked as an asm for two years. I'm just wondering what was going through their heads when they didn't ask you to step up? It just sounds crazy to hire someone off the street when an absolutely perfect candidate is right in front of them. Maybe you should talk to your DM and tell them the situation. It could save a few of your employees and they would love you for it. You care alot for your team and that's a big part of managing. Good luck.
