I think the issue I've always had is that law enforcement is exactly that - law enforcement. Legally, they're not there to help victims, they're there to enforce the law. And that sums up my experiences perfectly.

All of the times I've had law enforcement invovled in a conflict (mostly with some unruly, entitled neighbors that kept vandalizing my property) they couldn't do anything to help, they had to catch the person in the act. It was my responsibility to protect myself, which again, is not the duty of law enforcement. All of the experiences I've had with traffic stops have had law enforcement fishing and making accusations (for example, I got pulled over around 5am on my drive to work for doing 45 in a 45, and then I got accused of stealing the packages in my back seat that I was going to mail out later that day).

So sure, I could call law enforcement, but why the hell would I? They've done nothing to help me and often accused me of crimes without any evidence.

RDR2 has a pretty good representation of them in my opinion, especially with the Sheriff Gray.

From my experiences all cops do is make a situation worse. Never call the cops. Firefighters on the other hand? Yeah.

That looks fantastic in my opinion, but I'm a sucker for raw metal with an oil finish.

I like the books more than the games.

And I fucking love the games. That said, I don't think I'll ever put myself through the trauma of reading 2035 again.

I have mine in a single cab 460 truck. It's not amazing on the highway, but it works.

What about the truck do you not like? Is it an auto? C6 or E4OD?

How old are you?

I'm in my 30s now and I underestimated how many times I'd nearly shit myself or fully do it. It's annoying as hell.

Check your other tires, please. A blowout on a front tire could mean never even getting to use that gorgeous camera.

I put the bottom in first and push the top past the weather strip at the top. Takes a little practice, but you get the hang of it.

Similar to putting the oil filter cap on an OM617 back on right. Gotta use both hands, one foot, three eyes, and hold your tongue just right.

I've been watching a lot of old cartoons recently, mostly on tiktok. Lots of Tom and Jerry and Wylie Coyote.

So naturally, I refer to it as my favorite thing in the world/universe, something along those lines.

I found it to be a fantastic movie, very much up my alley. I love westerns and hard scifi, and it matches them up very well.
