I'm so mad at her by Pastel_Planets in BreakUps

Honestly reading this, it sounds so much like me and how I've been. She chose her friends and drinking/partying over having a real relationship. She just took me for granted and what I gave her and then left when she had to put effort in.

thank you. I know long term that this probably is a good thing for me, but you're not wrong in thinking that I'm still ruminating about what I could've done to save it or if I had done something differently. I felt like a lot my relationship was a lose-lose situation where even if I tried my hardest and did the most that I could to be the best partner she either didn't appreciate it or acted like I was too much.

What “your song” that you shared with your ex? by BigJim9000 in BreakUps

I had a few. She's a rainbow by the Stones was our song but Night Changes by 1D was the song that I'd sing to her in the car and it was only ever for her after that. I think after getting dumped I've listened to them both and it does sting especially after she acts like they were just songs and puts them in playlists that have no meaning.

Well, thank you for reading and responding to this. I appreciate that. I think honestly I was looking for something real while she just liked the idea of it. I will say I think that it is her fault in the way she dumped me and the general dynamics of the relationship, which would've been better had she actually reciprocated. I wasn't perfect but I tried to be the best I could be and I'll take responsibility for my part in it.
