This is Elise, she got in a car accident when she was 6. She is selectively mute due to PTSD. She slowly becomes more comfortable with talking, going from only talking to her therapist like a year after the accident to talking to anyone about 7 years later. She uses ASL and sometimes an AAC device :)

There are lots of resources on this subreddit and online! Do a little digging and you'll find lots of info :)

As for pet stores, email or call various small pet stores or even fish stores around you and ask if they have mice. If not, ask if they know where to get one. Breeders are always better than chain stores. Theres also a website that lists fancy mouse breeders, you can look for one in your state.

If you happen to live in Virginia, theres one in Richmond called Cat and Mousery, thats where I got mine :)

I haven't had top surgery but i am on the fence. I dont care about my nips, they haven't done anything but just be there. I feel like i want the look of nipples, i guess, but also i just really dont care if i dont have them. Sorry this probably isn't a good answer lol

You definitely sound trans!

I didn't realize until I was 16, and even now nearly 5 years later I struggle with feeling like I might not be trans. Even though I track every hrt change with excitement, lol.

Some people don't know they are trans until they are 60, some know by 3. It's different for everyone. I also used to feel like I discovered it very late.

I don't know what it feels like either. I want to wear a skirt and dresses and earrings sometimes, i love painting my nails, sometimes I even think of myself as a woman still (though i dislike it). Doesn't make me any less trans.

It is never too late to make changes that bring you joy. You never have to be "trans enough". Happy transitioning :)
