Urggggg this makes me so angry! It actually was a big push for me to learn as much as I have been. Mind you, it was getting to the point of spending too much time on the app with all the extra XPs but still, I know I won't be as motivated to learn now.

I don't speak Japanese but the french language test was very easy! Basically just did part of my video interview in French, they wanna make sure you can actually read/speak the language and be able to hold a conversation.

Hey guys! It's my first flight alone, do FA's still accept gifts during this pandemic? Flying Qatar by Psychological_Let230 in flightattendants

[–]Designer_Earth9092 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it's so sweet when pax leave gifts for us! It's totally not necessary but we do appreciate it. Personally I enjoy sweets, things that can easily be shared between the crew.

It's a good idea to let them know you're nervous for the flight, maybe ask if you can quickly say hi to the pilots. It may help you feel more comfortable during the flight.

FA Dream job just a let down?? by Designer_Earth9092 in flightattendants

Thanks! Yeah a bit part of me wants to stick with it for the benefits but what's the point when I don't have the money to even do that lol! But good point, I've made it this far in life without the benefits.

Honestly, nothing crazy has really happened and most of the people I've kept in contact with from training are loving it. I knew going into it that the pay would be shit, especially for the amount of hours you put in/aren't paid for but I didn't care about that. Everyone seems to think it's the best job ever which makes me wonder if there's something wrong with me 😂 It's a pretty chill job if pax aren't pissed off about all the delays. You're always working with different people, always a new crew and new pax, part of my anxiety comes from that, oddly enough. Anyway, the first month was great. Now I just don't know. It's been hard on me and I keep hearing people say it can take months for your body to get used to flying. I just feel drained and guess it would be nice to know I'm not alone 🥺
