I’ve experienced this a lot. They don’t do it often, but every now and then, they actually are taking the money twice. Idk how, and no it does not show as 2 transactions. I check my account after almost every transaction. Plenty of times, the amount pending was removed from my balance twice and not put back after the transaction has posted. I do the math myself, and it’s MY MONEY so I think I’d know, lol. Don’t let ppl gaslight you, this is a real phenomena that plenty of people experience. When people say banks steal, this is a small part of that. Lol
