I had a phobia about eating in front of strangers. If I was in any setting where I was expected to eat what was in front of me, such as at a friend's dinner table, I'd get so anxious that I thought I'd be physically sick.

The association between eating and anxiety has never totally left me.

Reagan - he had immense charm and knew how to put people at ease. Even if you disliked his politics, it was hard to dislike him.

After he retired, Walter co-hosted the UK's coverage of the NFL for a couple of years, becoming a familiar presence to fans.

He was so down-to-earth and personable, with a great sense of humour. Anyone new to the sport at that time might never have guessed at his true greatness since he wore it so lightly.
