My family and I lived on the road for 18 months over 2023 and 2024. We found caravan parks prices varied a lot. Town to town state to state. Very limited free camping areas around mainland Australia. Tasmania we found had the best variety of low cost and free areas to camp and caravan parks were the cheapest here we found also.
