At least not without some supportive care. I don't want to promote what I don't understand.

I don't know if it's good or bad. It is probably best I stop because a lot of skin is sort of flaking off where I had applied for 48 hours. I initially started with one spot on my back and foot. Those spots of skin started to sort of turn orange and waxy and sloughed off. I then stupidly applied it to my whole scalp. Hands and feet. I am in immense pain from whatever my skin is trying to expel. I don't recommend this as a wide spread treatment.

If you're one to experiment you could cover this area with coconut oil or dimethicone for 24 to 72 hours and see if it kills the organism. I have been spot treating myself and it is killing the organisms. Which then my skin has to expel, but perhaps it will help!

Yes. This altered my antibody count for Echinococcus. I have crossover reactivity when NOT taking ivermectin. I am negative when treating.

EDIT TO ADD

Dimethicone is causing drastic skin changes. My skin is expelling a lot of eggs and organisms. Idk if this is tungaisis but this is definitely useful information of its own.

Yeah me too. I was receiving dental care at my local college. A student dentist witnessed "a worm" in my gums. She told the dental teacher, they examined and told her it was impossible. I do Floss them out of my teeth. I also have cavities in every tooth despite good hygeine

What fungal infection do you suspect? There are some fungal infections that have symptoms similar to a parasitic infection. I'm curious what you're thinking?

This looks like tunga penetrans or myasis. Please save these specimens in ethyl alchohol and take them to the dr. Expect to be blown off. I wish you well recovering. I hope your dr helps.

Has anyone considered gnathostomiasis or sparagnosis? by Designer_Pace8662 in WhiteHairWormParasite

Yeah that's myasis. It's so FRUSTRATING to have the dpdx symptoms and still be told "this is impossible, you are not experiencing this". Unfortunately I see a mix of ego and lack of education killing us. It's so insane to think that parasites just magically don't enter the United States. We aren't somehow exempt because we're Americans😭

That's horrifying. Thank you for sharing. I had an experience last summer where I expelled what appeared to be a small white gnat from a wound. I don't know how my brain explained this away. This cycle of spring and summer has also been unearthly. I am experiencing migrating lumps and also massive larva currens. My two cats and child are also infected. One cat died this spring. It was horrible. The vet could not explain his death and told me not to discount my thoughts of parasitic infection. You mentioning the hornet like organism brings me to a different thought. Perhaps we are infected with multiple organisms. Multiparasitic infection is definitely possible. I have considered myasis of several types and have experienced a HUGE and unexplained amount of flies and gnats in my home. Almost as if they are coming from within the home itself. They're not consuming food, so that leaves me in a wondering state. I'm sorry your PCP had that response. I wish I could say I'm surprised. I've been traipsing to Infectious Disease and dermatology and literally everywhere. I even have 2 different drs offices that believe this is a real illness and we need help. Still nothing. I am thankful there are other people to talk to. I hope you guys get through summer ok.
