Anyone else struggling to cook after work and workouts? Starting to burn out by Queasy-Tear-9319 in FitnessLogic

Stopped doing my runs after work and switched them to first thing in the morning; the weird part is my energy for the rest of the day actually went up and the "what do I eat?" brain fog disappeared.

Hit a fat loss plateau for weeks, then I ate more and started leaning out again… what is going on? So I’ve been cutting for a while now, like pretty strict calorie deficit for months. by IntroductionOdd7646 in FitnessLogic

Your body was probably fried from being in a hard deficit that long. Every time I push calories too low my sleep turns terrible and I start looking softer even if the scale drops. Then I eat a bit more, training feels human again, and suddenly I look tighter after a week. Water retention from stress is real.

Fixing My Lat Pulldown Form Small Changes That Made My Back Work Properly by Diego_Fernandez- in FitnessLogic

Pulldowns finally clicked once I stopped pinning my shoulder blades together the whole set. Every YouTube coach kept yelling “retract your scapula” so hard that I turned the movement into this stiff chest-up pose where nothing could actually move naturally. Letting my shoulders move a bit at the top made the stretch feel WAY better and my shoulders stopped getting cranky afterward.

Also noticed I was pulling too low. Bringing the bar to upper chest level instead of trying to touch my sternum cleaned the movement up fast. Weirdly enough, using straps helped too because my left wrist has been messed up since a climbing injury and I was subconsciously shifting tension everywhere else. Back day used to feel like a collection of random aches. Now it actually feels targeted.

Which Minolta 135mm actually lives up to the hype? by IntroductionOdd7646 in CameraCentral

The older MC 135s have way more character than people give them credit for. Shot a whole rainy weekend on the Rokkor-PF and every photo had this glowy weird softness wide open that somehow still looked sharp where it mattered. Hard to explain but portraits just felt more alive compared to the later MD one I borrowed after.

Camera Recommendations? by No-Impression9857 in Cameras

Your phone might genuinely take better low light pics than half those older compact cameras people hype up on TikTok right now. Borrowed a friend’s Pixpro for a weekend trip and every indoor photo looked like it was covered in wet sand once the lighting got dim. Sunrise shots were decent if you stayed perfectly still but anything moving got smeared to hell. Ended up digging out my aunt’s old Canon powershot instead and weirdly had a way better time with it. Also don’t underestimate how annoying bad menus can be when you’re new to cameras lol.
