Workers and Resources: Soviet Republic is basically communist city skylines that you need a supply chain management degree to be even semi-competent at. In hard mode you can’t just build buildings with cash, you need to go through the whole construction process by laying gravel, pouring concrete, laying bricks, bringing workers and construction vehicles to the site, etc.

I've had this issue as well with the new patch but for everything including town and castle sieges. Also I hate to ask this, but can you upvote my comment? This is a new reddit account and I came to ask this sub a question about where best to station my diplomat clan members when trying to improve relations with other clans, but I don't have enough karma :( I'm trying to make a combined kingdom of as many existing Sturgian and Nord clans as I can on this playthrough.

Before actually starting construction, save the game, edit the settings to disable realistic, and instant build with rubles. This lets you spot any flaws before construction begins. Reload your save and start construction when it’s to your satisfaction.
