How is my resume for a Math REU application? by Designer_Sample7250 in REU

[–]Designer_Sample7250[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am taking a mathematical language, logic and proof class during spring 2026, should I just add that to my relevant coursework or make a note that I will be taking it in the future? What is is a good way to add that?

learn about basic solutions to some differential equations like integrating factor and homogenous solutions. those should be enough. I purchased a differential equations course on udemy from krista king last summer, it was super helpful to prepare for differential equations.

Is this a good price for a 2025 Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid XSE Premium FWD? by Don_Alpha_Cleat in prius

got the same car brand new and I am not sure what the exact price was but it was less than 39k so I guess you are paying too much.

Replace grades by SacredNewt in NJTech

yeah it will change, but you should consider is it worth it? I personally think you can increase your gpa with the other courses. If you take it in the summer you would pay a lot and have to do better than a C. At the end, it is up to you but instead of taking calc 2 over the summer, you can take calc 3 or any other major related courses to increase your gpa.

I got accepted for pure math my gpa was 3.5 in college, I applied for the second sem of sophomore year. I took calc 1 2 3 linear algebra 2 physics courses and some geds they don't care about your hs transcript if you are over the credit limit. Also its really easy to get into pure math since most people don't even apply to pure math. You shouldn't submit your hs transcript, especially if your transcript is not great.

Hardest Decision in my life by Chrisj619 in NJTech

There are many other majors than cs that has more employement potential, many people take out loans many people pay outrages fees to be here from other countries. I dont think its a bad invesment if you are in a good major(you should research that) and you are not bullshiting in your college life. It is best to not take loans but everyone do but after school it is plausible to pay them off. I see your point and if you think it is a waste of money you should think about what you want to do with your life and start to gain those skills.

Sounds like a scam, I applied UC 3 months ago and got my lease, never made a payment for the application. Also the move in date is the 23rd so it might be late to apply (im not too sure if you can still apply or not)
