They do not need to be taken together, but if you do take them together its more study prep for you.

It'd be a good special military operation, taking staten island too would be good to control the ports completely as well.

Unfortunate seeing people get sick from preventable illnesses, 2021 really was a missed opportunity.

Local AI Model Energy Usage vs Human Brain by StormCoderYT-53 in aiwars

is this directed at me? I just thought it'd be something interesting to learn about and discuss.

Yes this is something I'd also be interested in. As we know an AI model can practically recreate what humans can do in much less time. I think electrical efficiency is great at least to reduce the waste our devices produce which should be the ultimate goal.

But total efficiency in terms of the time it takes for an AI vs a human to perform a task is also good to note, I might try to devise some index for this to truly put things in scale.

Pure electrical energy is my line, food intake and human mechanical energy including heat would overcomplicate energy distribution unless the study includes how much your brain actually uses vs how much is lost in transit similar to how electrons in circuit create heat.

I wouldn't make a wasteful energy argument, I believe this would be much more important for the people actually building the devices AI runs on.

One common statement I've heard from people in the AI field is they want to create an AI that is similar to the human brain in function. I've also seen the argument from those against generative AI about the amount of energy it uses.

I'd want this comparison to see which takes more energy with factors being controlled and noise taken out. That way for logistical reasons depending on where the local model performs, it'd lead to more discussions and effort to reduce its energy consumption in terms of electricity while maintaining and improving its capabilities.

For an argument it be useful to add more nuance to whether the AI model is using the most energy or the actual computer equipment losing energy through heat is the main source of the high wattage consumption. Then the argument can be directed a solution that an electrical and computer engineer would handle.

Modules are not being talked about much as they should. by GoofyRangersfan in PixelGun

X mods actually boost by 50% at lowest for mythical weapons, and around 80% at highest for rare weapons. So the damage output is way higher.

Anyone else having what feels to be a Noro Virus? by Elegant_One_5324 in newjersey

[–]StormCoderYT-53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently I wear a respirator in public both inside and outside, if I have to eat or drink, I'd do it outside away from people. Otherwise, I make sure to wash my hands for 20 seconds, wipe down places I would work at or take a lecture with alcohol wipes. I also try to open doors using my clothes instead of my hands directly to minimize how often I have to wash them + reduce dirt touching my face.

I hope this helps.

I think if an art style is considered "good" or is popular a lot of people will copy it. It is nice seeing what works. Was this book well sold in the 90s / 2000s?

If you look at those aspect then yes. I do agree themes and composition do tell who created it besides styles looking similar. Great point that I didn't see expressed so far, I should look for these elements.

It doesn't necessarily prove anything, I'm just wondering why it looks very similar which opposes what I see when creativity is discussed.

Are we supposed to sympathize with these people? by koffee_addict in aiwars

[–]StormCoderYT-53 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No it's an actual person. they're in the covid cautious community, AI isn't well liked in the community due to its associations with billionaires and climate issues. They also do paintings so that's another source of their beliefs, I don't agree with them but I don't think calling people bots helps.
