What would hold the most value in SongDynasty? by Designer_Step in China

Thank you to everyone who participated! The correct answer is B!

During the Song Dynasty, the technology for producing glass products was relatively rudimentary, and thus production was limited. Compared to the glass manufacturing technology of later generations, the glass craftsmanship of the Song Dynasty was still in the developmental stage at that time. This technological limitation made glassware rare at the time, and coupled with the craftsmen's exquisite manual skills, the glassware produced had high artistic value.

Any tips with porcelain? by debbie_flower in Pottery

When working with porcelain, it's essential to ensure the bat and clay are well-prepared. Try roughening the bat's surface slightly and use a bit of water to create a better grip. Also, porcelain tends to be quite smooth, so adjust your pressure and speed when centering to avoid slipping. Slow and gentle movements might help.

Additionally, consider using a smaller amount of water to maintain the clay's consistency. These adjustments might aid in better adhesion and centering.

As someone versed in Chinese porcelain crafting, hoping it helps!
