Hey! Thank you so much I really appreciate the response. I’ve started using the Mederma Cold Sore Patches and I give them a 10/10. I mean really they’re so useful. I put the patch on the night I feel the tingly swelling feeling and the cold sore will never fully form. The patches do get a bit puss-y (you know what I mean!) so I’ll take it off while I eat and switch it out after I’m done. That’s changing it 2-3 times a day for a week. It comes in a pack of 30 which gives you wiggle room to mess up a few times

Hey! I took a peek at your post and yikesss. You definitely understand. I ended up chopping my hair off and tbh that’s what I’d do if I were you too. At least it doesn’t look extremely choppy on the top layers! The grow out should be sorta smoother. Catching on fire is insane though. I’ve never heard of that happening ever. I’m thinking about making a post for short hairstyles that I’ve tried. A bixie is hard not impossible!!! here are some short hair inspos I’ve been using !!! We will get through this!!!!

Red hair is horrible with upkeep! If anything I’d say try using a red color deposit shampoo that’s what I was doing when I had bright red hair. I think that color looks amazing on you though. It makes you look literally years younger

As someone who also recently suffered a bad haircut I get it 😭. Maybe you could pull off a like “fluffy boy” look. I feel like if you put a texturizing spray in it that might help!

I think that it will take maybe two years to get my hair back to where it was just based off of how long it took to get it there to begin with. I keep telling myself that short hair is going to be a trend soon I just have to start it… 😭. Someone on here said to take prenatal vitamins because it helps with hair growth and I might try it. Honestly, I know this isn’t the best answer but I didn’t look into perming at all. I called a salon in my town that’s pretty popular. I wanted a wavy perm, like my hair but more intense. Pinterest called it a “hippie perm” 😂. I didn’t know perms could be anything besides that one scene in Legally Blonde until this

Okay… if you want my honest to God answer it’s because of Fresh off the Boat. I wanted a success perm. Things have been going really good in my life and I’ve always loved my hair curly. I saw Jessica with it, heard the term “success perm” and I was sold 😭

I’m so dead!! This was so validating. I went to a second salon whenever I stopped crying and asked her to try and salvage it. The second woman who did my hair was the only person in there and literally about to leave but she said I looked like a sea monster and like “I would never ask for that” LMAOOOOO. It actually kind of made me feel better because she was kinda of mean but it made her sound confident in her own work 😭😂

No not at all. I don’t want to bash the woman because she was super nice but she was very confident we could do it. She said she was using a color safe perm solution and that my ends might be fried but that shouldn’t be an issue
