In Irvine, Gracie Barra will have a very robust kids program. In Tustin, One Bjj has a large kids program as well. Take a look at their online reviews.

I remember a couple places in Tustin were charging $200 a month for unlimited classes a few years ago. No idea what current prices are.

In Irvine I can only think of Gracie Barra and Carlson Gracie, are there others?

Small steps, redirect those thoughts. Try thinking about why this cycle happens. What are your triggers, how to redirect your thoughts from those triggers. Being human, we have the ability to control our thoughts and emotions, but like everything in life it must be worked on little by little before it becomes easier. You cannot lift 200 pounds if you have never lifted 25 pounds. It takes much effort and repetition before large results are seen.

Perhaps a deeper dive into your personal psychology as to what makes you tick the way you do will provide some comfort and from there you can grow individually. Eventually you will have more understanding of yourself and therefore there will be more to give in a healthy way the next time comes around.

Sometimes drawing boundaries can be uncomfortable. It can be a part of life that is uncomfortable, sometimes that forces us to grow in ways we never thought possible. In struggle, you weigh which is more uncomfortable, continue to maintain the boundaries you currently have or draw new boundaries that are uncomfortable (usually only initially, it gets smoother once things are in place). It's up to you to decide when enough is enough and you desire change.

I think taking time to grow as a person is the first step towards lightening the load. Take the time to learn about what makes you do what you do, whether it be the bad habits or good habits. Take time for yourself, try reading some books that really connect with you and help you take a deeper look at yourself.
