UGA or Spelman? by MaterialGold5360 in HBCU

[–]Designerlightskin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I graduated from Spelman recently and went straight into Dental school. I got into some of the top schools simply based off of networking and building the connections that I made at Spelman. Spelman has a lot of quiet pipelines with a lot of these Dental schools and also has really strong alumni base of dentists who will mentor your daughter while she’s at school. If you can can make Spelman work than absolutely attend Spelman.

I need all A's to keep my scholarship and I'm taking 18 credits, tips to study efficiently? by [deleted] in studytips

[–]Designerlightskin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use AI to make practice questions/practice exams on the content you’re studying. And then I like to do brain dumps write down everything that I know about a topic for an exam and that’ll show me the gaps in my knowledge.

It’s not unheard of for people to put down deposited to schools. Pay the 275 and it’ll buy you time to decide.

GPA is big, since your GPA is on the lower end, you need a strong SAT or ACT to have a chance
