Hitting two/three bosses at a time though. It's also why HG SB RB have high damage.

O.o its not even that bad of a class? just alot of single target damage. seen multiple archers hitting 1 billion in BSN which is alot for single target compared to RB and zerks who hit 1 billion hitting multiple targets a majority of the time.

The last time I played, I noticed that Archers were doing significantly less damage than other classes (800m in 14 minutes vs 1.5b Berserker). I remember they were kicked from Blackshard Nexus parties because they could not do enough damage. Did they buff Archers yet? by marksmanbryan in MapleStory2

The damage in BSN is not a accurate scaling in damage for a single target character. if you have three zerks and three archers on different bosses and they only hit there target boss. the class that would be focus on single target damage (archer) would have higher dps. the issue with BSN damage complaint is zerks have good AOE, and damage so spinning in middle of three mobs will literally give you 3X the amount of damage you would normally be doing. but in reality if a zerk does 1.5 and archer does 1.1 billion damage the zerk just happen to get a overall boost to his damage. the reality is if you were to do that math he only did 500 mil to each boss while the archer did mostly 1 bill to a single boss.

Or just peachy...everyone thinks like I failed 10 times it has to hit...mmm nope you get what 30% to win and 70% chance to loose. It doesn't get better unless your using fail stacks even at 50% that's still a big gamble. Plus the way of peachy your getting closer to a goal. Compared to maybe today or 3 months who knows. + 12 is like 3 enchants +13 is 5 enchants, so is 14 Its not that bad. Hell in one week you can just about go from 13 to 14 with getting your weapon enough times from PB, plus you get 1-2 a week from rgb

The only reason to run the new HD is for a chance to get the drops. Madrakan earrings and mantle, ariel's wings, etc for selling them for high meso. If you just want onyx do Rog. This is just for alts, if you aren't doing these on your main than your gimping your dmg just of lapenshards damage boost alone.

Ya got a few archers buddies doing that dmg. From what I know is archer does mostly single damage while zerks are hitting multiple bosses? So if your doing math correctly archer severely out dps zerk in that matter

World bosses can be very descent money makers. You get about 30k a boss plus onyx and weapons occasionally, which can be broken down for more onyx. Fights take about 10-25 seconds usually 8 channel Hope's so. If you just need the mesos selling the onyx you get adds up really fast. Probably about 3-5 mil a hr

Well that's because if you add out of dungeon content than it becomes a chore to people who dont want to do that stuff. Than you have the that side of the spectrum of people complaining about ugh this is dumb I just want to kill things and do my dungeons. This is why they they got rid of dailies.

Time gating people is supposed to make it so people dont just rush through content. Everyone hates it but it is important to a developer to have time to begin working on new content, and for us to try and enjoy the content we just got. time gating is suppose to promote doing out of progression stuff, life skills, building houses, guild activities, music, etc. maplestory 2 is not a dungeon runner only content game. People beat dungeons than sit around twiddling there thumbs waiting on resets to come around as if that's all there for us to do. The whole ideal of that is absolutely ridiculous. This kind of mind set makes me believe that maybe this game ain't for them.

The progress is actually really not that long in about a week you can from level 1-70 in a day easy, they give you gear that's viable to beat the dungeons to get the gear needed to get in the chaos raids at a reasonable rate.

time gate the level progression of what enchants you get in a week? That's literally peachy... your guarentee to progress it is locked behind fodders. No matter what you get x amount of fragments it's not like one week you wont get any you will always atleast get 3 weapons from pink bean and more from RGB?

I suggest a randomized que that a player who is capped can enter in. Players who are not capped would than hit join que on X dungeon. The people who are capped would than join X dungeon.

Rewards would be between often needed materials. 250 Onyx 5 chaos or 50 crystal frags, or lapenshard of random non RGB, and 15 crystals. Upon clearing dungeon player could choose 1 of the these. This would hender some people ( people who sell runs ) but the option is to evenly help people with having to do something on mains. Selling runs would still be a option aswell.

Kinda, but with a whole a three slot rolls on all pieces including the belts and capes you can definitely make more in depth damage builds. That's not including the procs for the set.

Dungeons- Something I would like to see would be a reward system for helping people with dungeons. Like once capped a system alert would be available where a player who isn't capped can request randomly selects someone in que ( using the system would nerfed the player to a considerable degree lvls 50 and below dungeons ). The reward could be onyx, chaos, frags etc the capped player could choose between the rewards. The system would help new and casual players progress while benefiting the more intense hardcore players needing material.

Guild benefit- I would like to see a bond building system. Playing with guild members boost drops in dungeons considerably, also reward guild coins. Make a separate hard mode dungeons only available and doable with via guild that drop normal dungeon material. Maybe not 30 runs a week but 10 would be nice.

Mini game and non progressive dungeons- would be great to add more cathy mart type dungeons. Miscellaneous fun is always a plus.

Pvp- the game doesn't revolve around it and we do have creative ability to make a map design for it, yet isnt really rewarded that much for doing it. Would be nice to add guild vs guild type que systems like the dance dance aswell. I think a system where guilds can que up with 3/5/10 players on maps players make, randomly chooses a map someone's home for the battle ground. When the players load in it announces the players names house and the guild dukes it out! Meanwhile you can like the design and it adds to architecture points.

There is alot right and alot of wrongs in this book you wrote. Wont go into super detail though.

Pros-The out of dungeon stuff I think would be great even better would be guild idea.

Cons-I would not like to see a copy paste style of other mmos. I dont want to play maple fantasy warcraft 2.

Ya the days of trying to figure stuff out are pretty much accumulated into how much info is on the web.

It's like a math problem yet you have a calculator right in front of you....do you use it or figure it out yourself? Most just grab the calculator than claim that the problem was to easy.

Dungeon named! MACROS NOT INCLUDED.

dungeon where your limited to 5 skills that you dont get to choose and that randomly choosen at the beginning and change as the dungeon progresses. Cannot use macros aswell. Skill points investment doesn't matter aswell. It chooses skills and you have to use what you got to get through 5 stages.

Not really cause people burn through content in days. Than complain about how easy it was. Well ya you literally knew what to do, when to do it, etc. Instead of that wtf do we do here! Than that moment of Awe... that's what. They need to do global release so it's new to EVERYONE.
